In this original painting, two figures are side by side on a summer day, or at least their setting evokes the growth of sun and warm afternoons. Their relationship is open for interpretation—you may see in them close friends enjoying a walk, or maybe you see a devoted couple fielding a day's responsibilities with an eye on the evening when they will relax together, tuning out the rest of the world long enough to recharge.

Medium: mixed media on canvas—acrylic and cold wax and oil

Details: The painting is framed in a solid wood float frame. It has a .25" front face and is 2" deep. Fitted with wire for hanging, the painting is signed and dated.
