Collage Painting of Long Eared Rabbit: Mixed Media Art with Bunny (6x12)

This rabbit has character. You can see it in his eyes and his big, floppy ears. I began with hand-painted papers, which I layered with scraps of ephemera—old book pages, bits of magazines. His whiskers are thin strips of an encylopedia, and his great wish, to be "home," comes from an old edition of Bon Appetit. The collage wraps around the edges of the paintings for a finished look, but you may wish to frame it.

Medium: Mixed media on wood

Details: Matte finish. Fitted with a sawtooth hanger, the piece is signed and dated.
