I have created an abstract landscape using hand-painted collage papers, using scraps of various colors and designs blends with ephemera to form the unique scene. Lake, hillside, blue skies—all appear together.

Details: the painting is framed in a glass frame—two panes of glass with an antique metal finish and chain (5" x 7"). Signed and dated.

MY ARTIST STATEMENT—Painting is a daily ritual for me, as I continue to discover ways to express myself through art. My goal is to create artwork that represents how I see the world around me—or how I hope it could be, a place where mercy, benevolence, and peace are commonplace and can be found around any corner, under any tree, or beside any stream. At the same time, I desire to create meaningful work that others forge a deep connection to and bring into their own home as a unique expression of who they are.
